Technical liaison between developer, end user and contractor is a varied role undertaken by the architect a various stages of design development and construction, it is not a high profile role and too often ‘delegated’ to parties too far along the development time line. Correct specification and detail at an early stage reduces the possibility of errors further down the the programme, whether producing ‘Patent’ drawings, technical package of works for subcontractors or liaison on site.
